If you want a Wedding Reception that you can make really personal you need look no further than this Hall.
You can have a pre-marriage drink in the Red Lion pub, get married in All Saints' Church and walk across the road to the Hall for a reception.
Of course there are plenty of other options such as using your own Church or Registry Office.
Both halls need to be booked so you have flexibility to decide the use of each hall and privacy for the reception.
The Large Hall caters for 120 people and the Small Hall has various uses such as reception room, evening buffet room, quiet room or children’s play area. The Hall has a stage, and music is allowed as long as the neighbours nearby are not disturbed.
Tables and chairs can be arranged in various formats depending on the number of guests and our caretaker, for an extra charge, will set up the halls and clear these away after the hiring.
The main kitchen and bar area are attractive and functional. Crockery, cutlery and wine glasses are included in the hire charge.
Hirers can choose their own caterer and bring their own alcohol to the Hall without having to pay corkage.
The Hall has a Premises Licence which means it is licensed for Music and Dancing and for the sale of alcohol.
Hirers must find their own person to run a cash bar or use a Mobile Bar.
The cost of the 2 Halls at weekends in 2021 is £37.00
an hour. Hours booked must include setting and clearing up time. The only other charges are an administrative fee of £5.00 and car parking in the Village School playground of £5 an hour for the entire car park. A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 10 days before the hiring together with a security deposit of £250 that is refundable after the hiring if the Hall has been left without damage.
The charge for parking in the School playground is levied by the School; we simply collect it on their behalf.
Guests are requested to leave the Hall by 11.30pm and hirers to leave the Hall and surrounds by midnight.
